Jordan Engbers serves as president of Pratum, where he leads the company’s business strategy and operations. Jordan joined Pratum in 2015 and previously served as marketing director and chief administrative officer. He has also worked as a project manager and creative director for a leading technology company. Jordan currently serves as a board member with Information Systems Security Association Des Moines Chapter. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Drake University.


Megan Soat - Manager, Security Services

Megan is responsible for leading Pratum’s information security consulting and security operations teams. She is focused on team leadership, process improvement, and overall service delivery. Megan specializes in the information security risk assessment and IT audit process, leading incident response teams, and guiding organizations toward HIPAA, PCI and FISMA compliance.


David Cotton, Strategic Security Advisor

As Strategic Security Advisor of Pratum, David is responsible for helping set the strategic vision for the company’s information security consulting and IT risk management services while simultaneously serving as a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer for multiple clients in various industries. David is a customer-centric cybersecurity, information technology, and change management senior executive with over 20 years of experience leading large, complex, diverse, global operations. He was Iowa State University’s first Chief Information Security Officer; a four-time Chief Information Officer (CIO) while serving in the US Air Force, retiring as a brigadier general; a corporate CIO, and cybersecurity VP for a defense and intelligence contractor focused on cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations, geospatial intelligence, data analytics; and served as a member of the Defense Department’s Senior Executive Service (SES) as Deputy CIO for Information Enterprise, with the portfolio of developing the policies and governance constructs to enable Defense-wide enterprise services, as well as the upgrade and restructure of the global network security architecture for the military services and Defense Agencies. The Newton, Iowa, native is a graduate of Iowa State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He received Master of Arts degrees from Webster University in Computer Data Management and Personnel Management, and the US Air Force Air University in Strategic Studies.
